Licensed since 2001 and working alongside Stuart since 2011, Marni Smith brings more than two decades of award winning real estate experience and a deep understanding of both urban and rural Ontario markets.

Born in Toronto and raised in Peterborough and on the water in the Kawartha Lakes, Marni began her real estate career in York Region, where she helped hundreds of families buy and sell homes throughout communities such as Holland Landing, East and West Gwillimbury, Georgina, and Newmarket. As client needs evolved and affordability became a growing concern, Marni naturally followed the migration north. 

After purchasing her cottage in Minden Hills in 2016 and relocating full time to Barrie in 2017, Marni expanded her practice to include Simcoe County, the Upper Kawartha Lakes, and Haliburton County, areas she knows intimately. Today, she works seamlessly with clients moving both north and south, helping families transition to a more affordable, lifestyle driven communities, while also assisting northern sellers reach buyers from the GTA.

Over the years, Marni has developed a well known niche helping fellow dog owners find properties with the right yards, acreage, and zoning for their four legged family members. Her passion for trails, snowmobiling, and ATVing has also made her a trusted resource for buyers seeking properties connected to Ontario’s extensive trail networks, particularly in cottage country and rural communities.
